Canned Sweet Peppers

You will need
  • - Sweet pepper of different colors - 5 kg,
  • - Peas - 2 tbsp. l.,
  • - bay leaf - 5 pcs.,
  • - carnation - 5 buds,
  • - garlic - 5 teeth,
  • - ground chilli pepper - half tsp,
  • - water - 2 l,
  • - salt - 2 tbsp. l.,
  • - sugar - 6 tbsp. l.,
  • - Vinegar - 2 tbsp. l
Instruction
Wash peppers, cut the stalks, remove seeds and cut into strips 3-4 cm wide. Wash the cans well and sterilize. In the pot, we draw water. Add salt, sugar, vinegar. Bring to a boil.
If necessary, add salt or vinegar to the marinade. We put pepper in marinade and cook on very slow fire for 5-6 minutes. Peppers should not be soft or boil soft. At the bottom of each can put peppercorns, cloves, bay leaf, add chili pepper and garlic.
Now we get the pepper from the marinade and still hot spread on the banks. Pepper must be laid tight, slightly pressing. Marinade we bring to a boil. Fill them with peppers. Cover the jars with lids, roll up and turn over for 10-12 hours. You can store such pepper in a dark place.Pepper canned this way is the best addition to fried potatoes.
