Baby with No Skull Miracle Baby Jaxon Buell is now walking and talking to parents
See The Emotional Moment Jaxon Strong, Miracle Baby Born With Most of His Skull Missing, Gets to Meet Santa
When Jaxon Strong was born with Microhydranencephaly, a condition that caused half his brain and skull to be missing, his doctors predicted that he'd only live a few days. But over a year later, this little guy has defied the odds to celebrate his second Christmas.
Born Jaxon Buell, his dad nicknamed him Jaxon Strong because of his strength and courage. With a little help from his parents, he recently shared this Facebook post to wish his supporters a very merry Christmas and thank them for their kind words.
"It is always in the back of my mind. I'm very aware that today maybe his last day. I'm aware tomorrow he may not be here," Jaxon's mom, Brittany said. But she adds that every moment with her son is a blessing, especially as he reaches new milestones like saying "I love you" for the first time, and most recently, getting to meet Santa.
Jaxon's mom shared these sweet snaps of Jaxon's visit with the "Big Guy" at their local mall in Orlando, Florida.
