How Much Does It Cost To Get Electrolysis?
What's the Cost of Facial Electrolysis?
Question:What's the Cost of Facial Electrolysis?
I’m looking into electrolysis for my upper lip, what can I expect to pay and how many treatments will I need?
Answer:For the average woman treating excess hair on her upper lip, it might cost anywhere from 0 to 0 to complete that area. A coarse and dark growth of hair on the upper lip might cost as much as 00.00 to complete, but this last type of hair problem will be a grade 4 from the Ferriman Gallwey hirsutism scale (excessive hair growth).
A fine and light growth of hair on the upper lip should be scheduled every 2 to 4 weeks in the beginning for 5 to 10 minutes per session. A heavy growth on the upper lip could be treated weekly, but still, treatment length should be no more than 30 minutes.
I personally want to keep the time on the upper lip to a 15 minute or less time – even if it’s weekly, since the upper lip is a delicate area in two ways. The upper lip is sensitive to the sting of the treatments, and the skin is susceptible to damage from over-treatment of the area. That said, electrolysis is the only method that can provide permanent results.
